J. Lee Smrz was born and raised in sunny California, which unfortunately was wasted on her, as she discovered early on in life that she much preferred to stay inside where she could curl up with a good book rather than go outside and face the fear of getting sunburned. Her love of reading anything fantastical eventually evolved into a love of writing everything fantastical and she’s never looked back. When not writing, J. Lee Smrz enjoys drawing, geeking out with her friends, and of course, reading anything she can get her hands on.
